Cookie and Privacy Policy

Here I describe which cookies and personal data thorlentz.dk uses, why I use them and how long I keep them. The policy covers the website, booking, the contact form, reviews and the newsletter.

I am responsible for the processing of the personal data you give me through the website.

2. Cookies

The website uses no cookies. There are no statistics, marketing or tracking. The website uses neither Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA nor embedded content from other sites. The fonts are hosted on the website itself.

3. What information I process

Booking

I process your name and email address when you book a session. I use them to register and confirm the appointment and to contact you about it. The basis is that I need to be able to carry out the agreement with you. I keep the information for 24 months after the last appointment. If you receive an invoice, I keep it for 5 years after the end of the financial year, because the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires it.

Contact form

I process your name, email address and message so that I can reply to you. You receive an email confirmation when the message has been sent. The basis is my interest in being able to answer enquiries. I delete the message when the matter is closed. At the latest, this happens after 12 months.

Newsletter

I process your name, email address, IP address and the time of sign-up. You must confirm your sign-up by email before you are added to the list. The basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time via the link at the bottom of every email. I keep the information until you unsubscribe. Newsletters do not measure whether you open the email or click on links. No cookies are used for this.

Reviews

I process your name, email address, IP address, rating and text. Name, rating and text are shown publicly. Your email address and IP address are not shown. I use the IP address to prevent misuse and spam. The basis is your consent. I keep the review until you ask me to delete it.

Security

The website’s spam filter and security functions may use your IP address to block misuse.

4. Who processes the information

I do not pass information on to others, except for the providers that run the website and my email for me:

  • Nordicway: hosting, domain and email. The servers are in Germany.
  • MailPoet (Automattic Inc., USA): sends the website’s emails, that is, newsletters, confirmations and notifications. The information is transferred to the USA on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
  • mailbox.org (Germany): my email service, where I receive notifications about bookings and messages.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the information I process about you
  • have incorrect information corrected
  • have your information deleted
  • restrict the processing or object to it
  • withdraw your consent

Write to me at kontakt@thorlentz.dk if you want to use your rights. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).

6. Changes

I update the policy when something changes, and I write the date at the top of the page.
